Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Digital Humanities Flanders (DHuF) and DiXiT, we will be able to offer 10 competitive bursaries. These bursaries take the form of a reimbursement fee that can be used to help cover travel and accommodation expenses.
The bursaries are intended to help early career scholars defray their costs of attending the conference. More specifically, we especially invite applications from undergraduate and master students, PhD students and candidates, and postdoctoral researchers who were awarded their PhD less than five years before the opening date of the conference.
Successful applicants will be awarded a bursary of €250 to help defray expenses incurred in attending the conference. The bursary can be used to cover registration, travel, and accommodation expenses paid by the recipient. To be reimbursed for their expenses, recipients will be required to produce all relevant original bills, receipts, etc. to be attached to a signed expense form provided by the host institution. Recipients will be reimbursed as soon as possible after the conference.
The deadline for applying for the bursary is 19 September 2016.
