Coleophora argentula  (Stephens, 1834)

A rare species in Belgium.

The larva lives in a roughed white-brown case on Achillea millefolium or A. ptarmica. Pupation in the case.

The adults fly in one generation a year during July and August. They are active at sunrise, in the evening and at night and come infrequently to light.
