An uncommon species in Belgium.
larva feeds from a case on Ulmus.
During their development, the larva makes several cases and the final
case is fairly distinctive with a serrated upper edge and affixed in an
angle of between 0° and 20° to the long axis, so that the case
is fixed almost parallel to the leaf. Hibernates as a small larva.
adults fly in one generation a year; during June and July. They come to light.
