Coleophora ochrea  (Haworth, 1828)

a very rare xerothermic species in some dry calcareous parts of Belgium.

The larva feeds on leaves and occasionally on seeds on Helianthemum nummularium. It builds the case from leaf fragments. Pupation in the case, usually attached to the food plant or nearby vegetation.

The adults fly mainly during July and August in one generation a year.
