Coleophora paripennella Zeller, 1839

A very rare species in Belgium.

The larva feeds from a blackish brown silken case on Asteraceae like Arctium, Carduus, Centaurea, Cirsium and few others.

The adults fly in one generation a year; from late May towards early July.
