Coleophora saturatella Stainton, 1856

A very rare species in Belgium.

The larva feeds from a lobe case on Cytisus, Genista, Spartium, Ulex and Lembotropis. Pupation in the case attached to a stem of the food plant, often high in the sunshine.

The adults fly in one generation a year; onwards from late June towards early August.
