Hypatima rhomboidella (Linnaeus, 1758)

A widespread and rather common species in Belgium.

The larva lives in spun shoots and rolled leaves on Betula and Corylus. Pupation takes places amongst detritus on the ground.

The adults fly from July till September. They come to light.
