Pseudotelphusa scalella (Scopoli, 1763)

Not so common in Belgium, only known from 5 provinces.

The larva lives on mosses. It hibernates. Pupation during April-May.

The adults fly in May-June. They rest on tree-trunks during daytime and come to light.
