Colostygia olivata ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

A very rare and local species in Belgium, hitherto only known from the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg.

The larva lives on Galium. Hibernates as young larva and pupates among plant debris.

The adults fly in one generation a year; from June to August. They come to light.
