Chlorissa viridata (Linnaeus, 1758)

A very rare species in Belgium, most records are from the southern provinces and from the Kempen.

The larva lives on Calluna, Betula and Salix.

The adults fly from late May till July. They are active from dusk onwards and come to light occasionally.
