Ennomos fuscantaria (Haworth, 1809)

A rare species throughout Belgium.

The larva lives mainly on Fraxinus, but also on Ligustrum and other shrubs. Pupation between spun leafs of the food plant. Hibernates as an egg.

The adults fly in one generation a year; from end July till end October. They come to light.
