Horisme tersata ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

A local and rare species in Belgium. It has his stronghold at the coast and in de Ardennes.

The larva lives on Clematis vitalba and Anemone. Hibernates as pupa underground.

The adults fly in one, sometimes two generations a year; from May till August. The second generation is partial. They are active from dusk onwards and later come to light.
