Agrotis vestigialis (Hufnagel, 1766)

A not so common species in Belgium, though mainly observed in the north.

The larva lives on various low plants like Galium, Stellaria and Gramineae. It hibernates as a larva.

The adults fly from mid June till mid September in one generation a year. They come to light and sugar.
